Jenna Ortega refused to repeat her iconic dance from Wednesday season 1, while promoting the second season.
At Netflix’s Tudum event, where Lady Gaga put on a show featuring several songs from her newest album, the show eventually cut to Ortega and a group of look-alike dancers. While the dancers performed the moves that Ortega popularized in the iconic scene, Ortega stood firm and smirked at the camera. Instead of performing the dance, she sat down at a long table, while Lady Gaga danced in front of her. At the event, Netflix also featured a six-minute clip from season 2, which offers insight into the sophomore season’s plot.
